Esak Garcia
Esak Garcia

Esak Garcia started practicing Bikram Yoga in 1994 with his mother and first teacher Radha. After practicing for many years, he became a Bikram Yoga teacher in 2001. He won the Ghosh Asana Championship (an international yoga asana championship) in 2005. Since then he has created his own global yoga brand consisting of Jedi Fight Club, Yoga Travelers, and the e84 Teacher Training Diploma Program.

“I loved the practice from the very first breath in Pranayama. Even then I never imagined that the practice and teaching would become such a huge part of my life.”

JJ
JJ Garcia

JJ Garcia was born in Boulder, Colorado. Also, the son of Radha, he first visited Bikram Yoga Teacher Training at the age of 8 to attend her graduation. Little did he know it was just the beginning of a life-long adventure with Bikram Yoga. To heal sports injuries, JJ practiced yoga for more than 400 days in a row. He attended teacher training in the fall of 2011 and has since then become highly ranked as a world competitor. He is an instructor of the e84 Intermediate class and the 84 class.

“I love teaching this yoga. It’s helped heal me from several injuries, and it truly brings out the best in everyone—which I love and I get to see every day.”

Luna
Luna

Luna Sheroff has been drawn to yoga since she was a child. She began a regular yoga practice in 1994 which inspired her to complete Massage Therapy school and learn about the human body. Luna tried her first Bikram class at Radha’s studio in 1999.

After a few weeks of classes, she felt more fit, vital, and centered than ever before. She is inspired by being able to facilitate healing for so many people; not just the young and fit. The postures and the heat felt wonderful and the warmth of the instructors made her want to return.

“It is such a gift to guide others on their journey of transformation!”

Janet
Janet

Janet Seidel became a regular at hot yoga in 2002 while she practiced Family Law in Boulder. She loved the mental and physical benefits practicing several days a week after work. In February 2017 she suffered a ski crash shattering several vertebrae and ribs which lead to many months of rehab. During that rehab she discovered Yin Yoga and attended Yin Yoga Teacher Training so that she could share the meditative and restorative aspects of Yin with friends and family. She believes a Yin practice is a great balance with the hot yoga sequence. Each practice expands the possibilities of the other.

“It is my honor to share the practice of Yin with the students of Boulder Bikram Yoga as well as with their friends and family.”

Suzanne
Suzanne

Suzanne Larson discovered Bikram yoga in 2003 in Seattle, WA. She immediately felt the incredible therapeutic benefits of this specific method of yoga, not only physically where it healed her injured runners knees, but mentally and spiritually. These undeniable benefits of her consistent practice have not wavered to this day. She attended Bikram’s yoga teacher training in the spring of 2007 Honolulu, Hawaii. She has been teaching ever since throughout many states (WA, OR, HI, NH, NY, CT and CO). She feels that teaching is a true passion and honor and a way of giving back to others, for all that the yoga has done to help her in her life. She moved back to Boulder after 28 years with her husband and three young children in January 2018. She feels incredibly grateful to be a part of the family and community that is found within Boulder Bikram Yoga.

“Yoga continues to be the center of all aspects of my life. Showing up, doing your best, (no matter what that feels or looks like)  I truly believe Bikram yoga can help anyone…despite any challenges they might be facing, to gain strength, flexibility and a stronger connection to their truth. Yoga is you, yoga is your life!”

Raleigh bow
Raleigh

Raleigh Hutchison started practicing Bikram Yoga in 2019 in Milledgeville, GA to find an outlet from her stressful college life. As an ex-dancer, Raleigh fell in love with the discipline of Hot Yoga and the intense presence it brought to her physical body. Throughout college and post-grad, Hot Yoga has been a constant compliment to her life. Raleigh has earned her 200-hour yoga teacher training as well as earned over 400-hours of Pilates training. She moved from Atlanta, GA to Boulder, CO to strengthen her practice and teaching, while enjoying the surrounding nature.

“There’s no greater gift than the community Yoga creates. To be a leader in that space is such an honor.”

Joan Lohoff

Joan Lohoff discovered and used Bikram Yoga as a means of recovery from an ACL/MCL (anterior cruciate ligament/medial collateral ligament) injury and surgery. She became a quick believer after starting her practice, and decided to attend training in the fall of 2007. Since then, she has continued to learn, love and share this healing yoga. She practices, teaches, and loves this yoga for its ability to deliver physical vitality, emotional stability and mental clarity.

“The only thing I love more than teaching this yoga to my students, is practicing this yoga next to my students.”

Jordin Murphree began practicing Bikram yoga in the fall of 2001 and recognized the practice right away as a cornerstone of health and well being. She saw that as her body became stronger, more flexible, and more balanced, and she also became mentally and emotionally stronger, more flexible and more balanced. Yoga quickly became a huge priority in her life and she found herself rearranging her days so she could always get to a yoga class. In Spring of 2002 she became a certified yoga teacher. She taught in Sacramento and NYC, then landed back in Boulder and began teaching at Radha’s studio in 2005. Jordin is grateful and happy to share her passion with us.
